That won't fly down here...

Once again, Rep. Rogers' had proven to district three that he isn't the right man for this job. Have you seen his latest TV ad? If you haven't you are missing out on the dumbest political ad that has ever hit the air waves. The ad features two old men, who dare I say it, don't exactly give me the right impression of Rep. Rogers'. The men talk about how Josh Segall is going to bring "liberal" change to Alabama. The only real position they attack him, however; is Josh's stance on abortion.
Let's examine this ad:

"Who is behind Joshua Segall's Campaign? His campaign cash is coming from Hollywood and New York City?"
I guess Rep. Roger's forgets how easy it is too look up information these days, most of the money Joshua Segall has raised has come from Alabama. One of Josh's biggest contributors is a law firm based out of Montgomery, Alabama.

"Why are liberals behind Segall? He is one of them."
Now we've all heard this before, but the reasons behind this label are just down right odd. Act Blue - Is a Pac that helps democrats achieve elected office. However, this still doesn't make Josh a liberal - it just makes him a democrat. Charles B. Rangel- Who in the hell is that Rep. Rogers? According to Wikipedia, Rep. Rangel is the representative of the smallest district in the entire country! How in the hell will this man make Alabama become "liberal"?

"His pro-abortion, that won't fly down here."
Now I'm sure Rep. Rogers' is an intelligent man, but for some reason his ad cites an article on politico.com. Now, what does the article say on Josh's stance on abortion?

Quote:

Segall hews to his party's line on many contentious issues, including abortion rights. But he mirrors his district's conservative cast on at least one issue: gay rights. "Segall opposes not only gay marriage and civil unions but also federal hate crimes legislation and federal anti-discrimination laws for gays and lesbians. He also opposes most gun control legislation."

I'm sure many of you agree that there isn't a place in that sentence about Josh being pro- abortion. In fact, the very source he cites here explains how Josh Segall isn't the "typical" democrat.

"Josh Segall has worked for liberals all across the country.... He'd be a change all right a liberal change."
The fact of the matter is, Josh want to school out of state. He was bound to work someone who doesn't live in Alabama, however; that doesn't mean he should be burned at the stake. If anything, we should feel relieved that he actually has political experience. He might be able to tell the difference between the white house in Montgomery and the white house in Washington, because honestly I think our current congressman Rep. Rogers' has a hard telling the two apart.

This ad is mainly a response to Josh's new political ad regarding Rep. Rogers' record. The difference between the two though is that Josh Segall uses substantial evidence in his. Mike Rogers was the deciding on CAFTA and he can't deny that. The truth of the matter is Rep. Rogers' has nothing on Joshua Segall, and can only resort to name calling. It must be a damn shame when you can't even win an argument with a kid.
