So, I'm taking part in a collaborative novel this fall. There's seven characters in all that we're going to follow for the time being, and it'll be much in the vein of Heroes.
The thing is, character 7, who we affectionately call c7, is not written by any one person. And we don't know exactly who she is.
The editor of our novel wants us to solicit other people to write the introduction of c7. At the deadline for this... August 16th, us writers are going to vote on which one we favor, and that'll set the tone for the rest of the chapters for that character.
So, I come to all of you. I know there are many, many writers out there in the depths of ProgressiveU, and this is your chance to contribute in this novel (which will probably be published on the web, through our LJ community, only.
Are you interested in delving into the secrets of c7? Well, check out this post, and if you decide to write out something, go ahead and shoot it off to the editor. The submission only need be 1000 words, so a pretty short chapter, as far as chapters go (the rest of us have to write chapters of 2000 or more words).
