It is so weird how money can make people go mad. Financial insecurity has been the number one cause of my stress, and I think many people are in the same boat. Everywhere I go I am hearing about everyone's concern for the economy and what a sting this recession is giving them. People spread the anxiety like a virus.
Since I started high school three years ago, Ms. Wilson has been on my butt trying to get me to join academic decathlon. Yeah right, like I was really going to join when I had so many other things to do: school plays, homework, and more realistically, since I never really did much homework, just have fun with my friends.
4 days left, in the middle finally! I yet again didn’t get much done outside of research. I’m to the point of seclusion, thus today’s lesson…
Stress management.
Stress. We've all dealt with it at one time or another. It's not fun, to say the least. And I'm sure we all know that stress can cause some minor health problems, all of which are easily treated by learning how to de-stress.
i am so sick of this. it never ends. im ALWAYS stressed. and if im not stressed, i am being lazy. like now. i wish i lived in jail. no work. pretty content. i just want to be bored for once. to not have a thing to think about. i don't remember the last time i had nothing to do. i don't remember the last time i accomplished what i set out to do. i feel extremely pathetic. Defeated. Worthless.
I've always wanted to get regular massages, but I don't live a charmed life. I had never even gone to get a massage until a couple months ago. I would say that the number one perk of living in a Chinese city is the ability to walk down the street and get a high quality $2 massage whenever you like. I'm not kidding.
Mind overrun with thoughts of failure. Heart races. Body shakes. Hands sweat. Chest tightens. Can't breathe. Feel dizzy. Overwhelmed. Where do I start?
I am truly blessed. There are some people in this world who love me for just who i am (and if u know me, u know that's quite a feat) and believe that I can do anything, absolutely anything i put my mind to.
