A year ago my father called to tell me that he was no longer living with my stepmom. He was living in an apartment in the next suburb. I was shocked. Sure I didn't get along with my stepmom and never wanted them to marry, but divorce was something I did not approve of. I was very upset when I was a kid and I was told that daddy was leaving.
