This a tale of two funeral homes and their funeral cost.

On July 3rd 2008, Newsweek did an article creating a funeral cost stir. The picture of the biodegradable casket gives you a look at future funeral cost. Joshua Slocum of the Funeral Consumers Alliance also did a great Job handling comments after the article appeared. Slocum is a true Funeral Futurist. The article is Called "A Serious Undertaking." and is about future funeral cost.

Here is a model Website. Honest websites funeral cost or otherwise declare their costs(fees) to you in general terms immediately This is true in internet marketing or regular marketing There is no deception. In this way broad prosperity is optimized.

Rest in Peace has Called Funeral Directors to honesty on Funeral Cost, specifically
the NPS ( National Prearranged Services) and the IFDA Preneed Trust.
Recently I thanked a Funeral Director on another blog for his honesty on Funeral Cost.
Here is what I said it is worth repeating here:

Founder of Disney World was a low Funeral Cost Guy because....he witnessed the horrors of death. This is because he was an ambulance driver for the Red Cross in World War One. War and death are horrible and the funeral cost was too high for Walt Disney as it is for most folks today.

Tributes.com, is trying to increase your funeral cost by selling services to funeral directors. Making another addition to the GPL (general price list) is a sure funeral fire way to raise funeral cost! If you request a general price list a funeral home is required to give you a GPL by law under the funeral rule.

The focus on the Funeral Cost needs to be the 21st century. The focus needs to be on the future and not so much the past funeral cost disaster. Gary Laderman’s book Rest in Peace, is on the 20th century funeral cost . Surely there needs to be a focus on a 21st Century funeral cost and Rest in Peace.
