Why John McCain Scares Me

I think that if John McCain wins the presidency this November, I am leaving the country. Next year, I am graduating from high school and going off to college, and I will probably try to spend as much time abroad as possible. Why? Because I believe that, if elected President, John McCain will hurt America.

Banned Book Reviews #2
Written by jesus_zealot (who is no longer with us)

When I was little, my grandmother would read me Little Black Sambo, by Hellen Bannerman, though one thing eluded my understanding: how do tigers turn into butter? I could never quite wrap my mind around that, but I simply accepted it as fact.

American History X

Tagged:  •    •

So last night I finally saw "American History X" and I loved the movie. But at the same time, there was one major thing that disturbed me about the movie. The curb stomping scene really got to me. After I saw the movie, I have been researching a ton of different topics, from curb stomping to white supremacy and many other things. Honestly, I am appalled.

Let's talk politics: West Virginia voters

The videos below are from a month ago, but just a few days ago, a friend of mine sent me this video and this just grinds my gears to see how certain people can be so ignorant.

Why do racists think what they think?

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •

To start, I'll say ahead of time that this article is based off of a few assumptions:

1. Every opinion is formed for a reason, no matter how twisted, strange, and deluded that reason may seem to others.
2. For the purposes of this piece, "racism" is defined as a fear/loathing/predisposition to or against another race, orientation, or religion.

Seeing American Politics in Shades of Black and Woman

I'm sitting here listening to some Elton John on the radio. I sure do hate that guy. Love his music, just hate the individual. What really set me off about Elton John was his "Americans are misogynistic" remark at a Hillary Clinton fundraiser not too long ago.

Yes it's because Obama's black

The title says it all; and I want you to know that most of the stats that they keep putting out are not true. Most of the African Americans I know are NOT voting for Obama because he looks like them. Then again most of the African Americans that I know are not college educated and automatically fall into the I'm-voting-for-Hillary-cuz-she's-a-Clinton category. Is that sad?
