As a three year debating veteran, I have had the chance to see many young adults (and, frankly, kids) stand up and get involved in politics and public speaking. There may be a larger number of young adults and teens standing up and getting involved, but this isn’t enough… and how they are getting involved is not the right way.
Mike Huckabee

Breaking News -Tim Russert--Meet the Press- Host dies on the Job.
The Washington Bureau Chief for NBC is gone, Vice President of NBC.
Everybody's mentor in the News died today of a heart attack on the Job. It happened at 1:45 or 2:00 pm EST.
People were openly crying.
President Bush gave his condolences.
Tom Brokaw was quite broken up in the first official announcement from NBC News!
Barack has said he will be missed.
McCain was saddened.
Johnny Mac! Ohio Primary...
So it's official (almost). Mike Huckabee has conceded the election (gracefully, so it seems) to John McCain, who now has the necessary 1,191 delegates to capture the Republican nomination for President.
Scary Theocracy-related Comments
I really didn't like any of the potential Republican cantidates for the upcoming election. I have to admit, Romney and Huckabee scared me much more than McCain did. Huckabee is a chauvinist; that alone is enough to make me dislike him...a lot. (I'm a feminist, it's my prerogative). But if Mitt Romney had somehow managed to get into the election and WIN, I would have moved to Canada. Or Iran.

Speed Date....the Candidate
Since the current election started in 2006, many citizens turned off their brain because they had two years before they had to vote for the future President of the United States. Now, a year and a half later, there are some frontrunners in the 2008 campaign who all have their own viewpoints on each issue from environmental policy to gay marriage to healthcare plans.

Political Profile: Mike Huckabee (Mike Huckabee does not condone Mexicans, gays, or pro-choice people reading about him)
NAME: Mike Huckabee
WHO IS HE?: Republican politician, Governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007, ordained Southern Baptist minister, reknowned homophobic, and candidate for President.

Irregularities in the Primaries
As we all know, the race to find out who will be battling for the White House is well under way. I have watched primaries and elections before but never have I followed any as closely as I am now. Everyday I make sure that I check certain websites to see if there have been any updates regarding either the Republican or Democratic races.

A Scary, Scary Possibility
Somehow, someway, Mick Huckabee is still running under a Republican ticket for to be the President of the United States of America in 2008. After his decisive primary wins in the lower half of the US during February 5-9, he decided he is going to give it all he has.
Does this scare anybody else?
