I just read online that the actor Wesley Snipes is going to jail for tax evasion. Did he not learn anything fro Al Capone. (Go look that one up boys and girls, but here is the link for Wesley)

I was so inspired and proud that the writer's went on strike. I believe it had more to do with just wages as well. So many times the actors take all the fame and glory and leave little money and fame for the writers who put the lines in their mouths. It has a lot to do with our culture, we are a visual culture that puts a lot of importance on appearence.

I don't know who I speak for but I for one am sick of the tabloid weight obsession. Every time I'm in the check line at the market that's all I see, pictures of large stars with their faces covered and the draw-in headline "which A-list star has let him/herself go?". I don't care!

Without a doubt, Britney Spears is the main opic of all the Gossip magazines and television shows. At first I was with everyone else thinking, "This girl is nuts!", but now after seeing so many videos and articles where the paparazzi is overwhelming and downright suffocating the girl, I now feel a bit differently.

In all honesty, I feel very sorry for Jamie Lynn Spears. She made a mistake, and now everyone is all over her. I do not support what she did, but she is not the first 16 year old to get pregnant, and she certainly won't be the last.

It has almost become, if not already become, a regular part of who we are; for some lunatic who is about to kill himself to go into a densely populated place and kill a number of innocent people before killing himself. The most recent being the killing of 8 in Omaha by a troubled 19-year old.
