Well, summer's almost over, and most kids are dragging their feet in anticipation of the new year. Or are they?


Most of my friends that I've talked to recently have admitted, if grudgingly, that they are actually looking forward to the first day of school. I must say, I'm ECSTATIC that school is just around the corner. And I think I know the source of this phenomenon- BOREDOM.

Everyone has goals for their life, some people are just more ambitious than others. Others may not have set "GOALS" written on a marker board, but everyone has some idea for what they would like to do. It's a good trick to find out what your talents are, and try to concentrate your studies in that area.

Every living person has flaws that they try to avoid; covering them up by masking how they feel, burying insecurities within themselves until they implode and are exposed to the world, all the while constantly asking why it’s all happening to them. Most challenges occur during what is supposed to be the innocent and best days of your life, high school.

Today, is not a good day. And It is never a good day when your dreams are ripped from you, by things you can't control, and people you can blame because they are directly responsible for that dream being taken from you.

Two days ago I watched as one of my classmates from high school got married. Sitting there watching the beautiful ceremony take place, my mind was racing. I was so happy for her, but at the same time, I wondered if she was just fulfilling the biggest expectation of her life.

So. Today is May 16th, 2008,and I would like to announce that it was the last day that I would ever have to step foot inside of a high school class again.....

" Goodbye High School Hallways, where oh so many fights took place;
"Goodbye High School Teachers, who think that they should all be a college professor"

Hello , my name is Andy and I'm new.

I have a little issue that I need help solving. I originally took my freshmen year at a private school and my new school did not accept half of my courses. I only received 4.5 credits for that year and therefore, I'm behind.

So there are several courses I want to / must take , but I'm not sure when to take them, seeing as I have only two years left.
