I just recently finished reading the novel The Great Gastby by Scott Fitzgerald. Though the book took place in the 1920's, it can easily be compared to the present. America is still seperated by those with money and those without it, especially in this time of financial crisis.

School is filled with excessive amounts of pressure, and you can't wait for that last bell to ring. I can relate to it. We are teenagers. We live and breathe for drama, sports, and of course myspace. Wait, lets rewind this. Drama.

To tell you the truth, I am very scared for my future. I am 16 years old and live in America. At this age, I am unable to vote in the upcoming elections. This scares me because with our next president, the future of our country will be determined.
The way I see this whole situation is that we are in big trouble, no matter what.

When God Seems Distant~
Hebrews 13:5 says, “I will not leave you or forsake you.” God promises to never abandon nor forget you. Even when circumstances tell you otherwise, remember what God has promised you. Gods’ presence does not depend on whether you feel He is near or far. Believe He is near because He says He is.
