As an American you probably hear that America is the greatest country in the world, which in my opinion, overall it is the greatest. We have more freedoms which is essentially what all people want. We also get to choose who leads and represents us in government. However, is America as great as people like to think.
To me saying America is the greatest country is like saying we are the best of the kids who failed an entire grade in school. Sure we are better than the rest that failed, but we could be so much better. We have freedom of speech, but it is limited more than it should be.
