I've spent the past few days debating whether or not this topic is appropriate for this website. Obviously, I decided I should post it here, rather than my personal journal. So, with that in mind, I want to put out a disclaimer now. This post is about religion. If you don't believe in religion, fine, whatever. I really don't want to debate it with you.

As most people know, I'm agnostic. But there have been moments when I've nearly converted to Christianity. Once because I was tired of hearing it being bastardized and degraded by my own friend (just one) and another time because a touching story from one of my favorite actors made me consider it.

It must sound insane, coming from a girl who went to Catholic schools from kindergarten until 9th grade, but Pope Benedict's edicts and ideas scare the hell out of me.
