It seems like guys nowadays dislike condoms, for whatever reason.
condoms
we need SEX education
The CDC recently conducted a study and found that 1 in 4 teenage girls are infected with some type of STD. That is equal to 3.2 million teenage girls nation wide. Also, in some places, 1 in 3 girls will become pregnant by the age of 20. That is an outrageous number when we have so many resources that we do not use properly.
Sex. Yeah, I Said It. part 3
Sex. Yeah, I Said It. part 3
Did you know that more than 3 million teens get an STD each year?
Of course, this is just counting the teens as individuals. It doesn't say whether they contracted one STD or multiple, just that they had at least one.
And the best things come in group, don't you know? >__<;;
The Absence of No-Condom Fear
I was a virgin for 20 years which is a pretty big accomplishment. I don't think I'll ever regret my first time in terms of when, where, or who with. I don't think I even regret that we didn't use a condom because afterwards it was scary. It made us become responsible, deal with it, and come together because if something happened, it would affect both of us greatly.
Middle School Providing Contraception
Ok, now I agree that contraception should be readily available at all levels, and for an attempt at that I applaud this school board. However, I think in the case of middle schoolers such efforts should be left at providing them freely and confidentially with condoms. The birth control pill, from what I understand of it, is too risky to take for a young girl just barely beginning puberty. Condoms have been given out at this school for something like 7 years, and I think that that is a good policy that should remain in place; but providing middle school girls wth drugs reaches a whole new level. Many at that age have issues remembering their class schedule and to do their homework, how could they be expected to be able to responsibly take this drug as instructed? It working, I believe, with this age seems highly unlikely.
