The March for Life was, yet again, an incredible trip! This was the 36th annual march and my third. It was a different experience, because I went with a Kentucky group instead of a northeastern group and we stayed a bit longer in Washington. I don't think there really is a right answer to the abortion arguments. Obviously life is the important issue here, and one must decide when a person really starts life. If you believe that life does not begin until after birth then those people are mostly likely to be pro-choice however, if you believe that life begins at conception then they are more likely to be pro-life. As you guys probably know already, I'm pro-choice. I think abortion is disgusting and should be discouraged, certainly. But to ban it all together is counter-productive to the pro-life goal: more women would die due to anti-abortion laws because of abortions being done by unqualified doctors, increasing deaths among both fetuses AND women alike.
