As an eleven year old, I wasn't much into politics. I had a faint grasp that Clinton got into trouble over something with a lady (not his wife), that we had bombed someplace far away (which my family watched on the news... in night vision), and that Bush beat Gore after some confusion in Florida. Yes, George W.  Read More »

Where I Was on 9-11

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •

It seems predictable on September 11, 2008 to write a blog about September 11, 2001. I woke up this morning at 6am, drove the 45 minutes it takes me to get to FAU, all the while watching my gas gauge quickly pulled downwards. I sat in a sleepy Biology class all without thinking about it. At 8:46, my professor stopped and reminded us what the day was.  Read More »

Security and freedom. Where does the equilibrium of the two ideas lie? Or, does the equality of security and freedom not amount to anything more than a hill of beans now?  Read More »

Are people really listening intently?

Look at their faces as these words

On September 11th, 2001 we as Generation Y all witnessed an event that would forever allow future generations to question us on. As so many have labeled it, 9/11 is the modern day Pearl Harbor. Many have challenged this analogy and instead drawn a parallel between September 11th and the sinking of the Lusitania during the times of World War One.  Read More »

Loose Change: The alternative view of 9/11

Tagged:  •    •    •    •

So a friend told me to watch Loose Change 2nd Edition and Final Cut videos. She did not tell me why or anything she said just watch it. After i watched it I was astounded at what it was about. Some people think that Fahrenheit 9/11 was bad these videos top it 10 times. If these allegations are true, I do not ever think i could trust the government again.  Read More »
