Racism and Segregation

The film, “A Soldier’s Story” focused on racism and segregation in a black army with white officers. There was a separation between the whites and the blacks. The white officers were allowed to stand at the front row of the church, but the black officers were not allowed. The whites were also allowed to sit at the front of the bus, but the blacks were not.  Read More »

Why are people wearing rosaries as necklaces!?

So I'm a catholic and lately I've been noticing many people wearing rosaries as necklaces. Half of the people I've seen I know are not catholic and then they aren't even really that christian or into God. The rosary if you don't know is to pray to Mary. Catholics use them to pray to her, you say the prayer the Hail Mary so many times and then the Our Father and The Apostles Creed.  Read More »
