Obama looks to Lincoln while launching presidency

When Barack Obama launched his presidential campaign, he did it in Abraham Lincoln's hometown. When he arrived in Washington, he followed the train route Lincoln used in 1861. When he needed a Bible for his swearing-in, Obama picked Lincoln's.

I think that Barack Obama is a very inspirational figure, and that his influence on getting youth out and voting and active in politics is admirable. I feel that the youth who simply cheer for Obama because he is Obama is apathy to the worst level but in all honesty people do that on both sides of the “big line”.  Read More »
