Well, duh. Everyone knows how evil credit card companies (and cards) are. I have a few. I have surprisingly decent credit, although I probably couldn't even get a Target card again if I wanted to. I am currently taking a political science course, Politics through Film and Fiction. I just finished the fiction novel by Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid's Tale. It was written in the mid-80's. The book is a strongly feminist dystopia. Atwood's dystopian society is based firmly in a religious patriarchy.  Read More »

I am a true patriot. My definition of patriotism is loving my country and supporting what is best for the nation, not blind obedience to my country's government. That is different definition than most people have. People tend to confuse "country" with "current government."  Read More »
