The United States is building a fence between it an Mexico. Until recently, I was often skeptical of a wall between us and our southern neighbor. I thought, for no reason other than that I had heard this, that it would ineffective. But even more so, I feared a wall would give the U.S. an imperialist, racist, separatist, image.

In the modern United States, a debate about the use of torture of terror suspects is raging. For the war on terror is as much a war about information as it is about bullets and bombs, and at times the military and the government will go into murky waters in an attempt to attain the information they need. Some anti-torture advocates claim that in the use of torture, the U.S.

In all my years of life I had run into my share of skaters, druggies, anti-socials, and just your run of the mill, losers. These kids look at the world, and spit on it. And the world looks on them, and hates them for it. But why?

Rock and Roll Aint Dead Yet, as you should all know if you read my blog titled such. But it seems to be slowing down with age. The Beatles at times released 2-3 albums per year. Their best work, Sgt. Peppers-Let it Be, were all released within a year of eachother.
The Rolling Stones released albums every year or two.
Led Zeppelin released an album every year or two.

I hate these words!

Why do we all hate the Chatolic Church so much. The Da Vinci code, The Golden Compass. Popular culture loves to beat up on the pope and the vatican. It seems like its been the cool thing to do in America for the past 150 years to hate catholics (The KKK's number one enemy in the 1920's and 1930's were the Catholics)

People on the news, always talking about equality! Talking about Democracy!
But I am tired of all of the squabbling over Christmas decorations this, Menorahs that, Christmas tree in towns square, bla, bla, bla, bla.

I'll take you on, point by point. You'll fight me in the pages of your biologoy books. But I have one point, simple to make, and I do hope that you won't be fake. Answer me this. With poignant words, not a fist.
For life to evolve here on planet earth
Would it not have to have blocks
on which to build first?
So where did these blocks come?
From the sky, or the moon
No, thats just dumb!
