Push-polling: It irritates voters, and contains questions that attempt to change voter opinions. It is geared to “push” the candidates away from whomever they are rooting for and pull them towards the payee of the poll. Or, as stated “push polling is campaigning under the guise of research.”

Necessary for revolution.
We're not “Ready” for a revolution..?
It seems ridiculous, but that’s one of the many excuses poured forth.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m ecstatic for our record voter turn-outs.
Pop culture and voting?
I can go with that, but then the point of view is skewed up all over again.

After you read this, please respond to the questions. Yes, they are partially rhetoric, and the goal of this blog is to provoke some kind of thought, response, and awareness. If all you want to write in the end is "You're a b*tch, d!e." that's fine with me. Just let me know you're alive, let me know you've read it to the end. But please, if you can, make an intelligent response. Leave your thoughts and opinions, and if you have a good argument, please argue!
If a people really felt that life in their own country was so terrible, why haven't they tried to change it?
Does anyone have any idea what financial and economical damage illegal immigrants really do to the U.S.?

Racism in which direction?
Yesterday was the 17th birthday of some random white girl, who walked into an El Polo Loco fast food restraunt, searching for a job. She walked to the counter and stood politely in line, a bit nervous. She had noticed the large, lowhanging banner on the newly opened joint reading "Now Hiring!" in passing, and stood now suddenly before a middle aged Mexican man with a somewhat sparse handlebar mustache. She smiled, best she could, under the heavy, suspicious glare now beaming her from her brown hair to her black shoes.
"Hello. I was wonderingif you are you still hiring?" The girl tried to sound calm, The man was looking consistantly less happy with her presence in the joint.
"Yes."

A little while ago, I had been at target with a couple of friends. There was a group of preteens dangling about, most on bikes, although one or two had stolen a(couple) electric shopping cart(s). They were asking for trouble, and were soon to be chased out by an employee. One of the kids asked me if I wanted to play chicken (being the only of my [high school] friends on a bike). Somewhat amused, I consented (this all happened in the parking lot, mind you). I would have hit the kid, but he pulled away just in time. He glared at me, and as I turned to leave an employee came out and shooed the kids, and drove the electric cart away. I'd see him later.

Oh dear. *puts a plug in the cyni-casm for a moment*
For as long as the earth has been, it has seen cycles and cycles of ice ages and global warmings. Long before (as far as we know) man walked the earth, masses of separate lands were formed and reformed; species were wiped from the planet; unimaginable disasters reshaped the planet.

... look here.
You can see words, right now, created by the button tapping of an almost-seventeen year old girl whom you've never met. You'll continue, for whatever inscrutable reason, as I will continue to type. To say or think that I do not care about people, about the future of myself, those around me, the nation, and then the world...- a serious misjudgment on the behalf of the assumer.
