I have been gone for about two months and thought I would explain where I have been and what I have been doing.

I was watching an amazing story on 60 minutes and they did a story of a doctor whose a philanthropist of sorts and he provides medical care to people who can't afford it. He enlists people of different specialties to provide medical care to all. Before the show aired I think he had a revenue of $200.000 a year.

As an educator I notice today's children have very little imagination and do not know how to play. All of this started around the invention of video games. I don't remember when it came out but I remember the old Atari 64 game system. We used to have it but of course that's gone along with the old Beta Machines for video cassettes. LOL.

I am almost missing the days of Leave it to Beaver. The ideal parents Ward and June Cleaver. The stay at home mom with 2.5 kids with a house in suburbia. Whatever happened to those days?
