Recent debates in my Aesthetics and Politics class have been concerned with whether writing-- Marx's medium-- actually subverted his plight to ameliorate the masses because most workers Marx sought to inform didn't have the money to buy an education to read his complex theories because they were, you know, working, and stuff.
