For some reason the media has not picked up on this story but it happened just a few days ago. I'm a news junky and I have not seen it in a single major media source. I only come up with a couple of obscure links in google news. Almost a complete coverage blackout.

I learned long ago never to go into Wal-Mart on the 1st day of the month. I don’t know how things work elsewhere but in Wyoming poor people get their new WIC /Food Stamp Cards on the 1st day of the month. These things are not actually stamps at all but work more like Debit cards. Wal-Mart is swamped with people spending and stocking up and the checkout lines are interminable.  Read More »
