Abstinence campaigns have existed since the increase in kids getting STDs or girls getting pregnant at ages under 16 has been raising lately. Before the level of venereal diseases was so high we would see campaigns about having safe sex everywhere. Recently, on Feb 19th, Cuba's president for almost 50 years renounced to be president of the country anymore, and announced his name would not be in the elections this year.
