Piping Hot Plate of the Status-Quo, Comin' Right Up...?

With hesitation I post the script of what I feel is a very tell-tale conversation. There are few conversations that stick in my head in a day, and even fewer in the course of fourteen days, but this is one that I come back to, partially because it's on the web.  Read More »

Perhaps this is not fully in tune with the book I'm reading, The Politics of Mindfulness, but I noticed a fellow blogger post the goals they'd set for their 20-some odd year of existence. Having dug this blogger's work, I've decided to map out a few things for my eighteenth rotation 'round the sun.  Read More »

Taste Barack Obama--Is it Poisonous or Progressive pie? PART II

If precedent holds any clout, Bill Clinton's re-election campaign holds a key to another piece of the pie. "Shit, you brought real corn?" he said as the last drops of spit and energy came rushing out of his mouth. The turbidity of the day stirred this gasping question into something more humorous- more entertaining than it would otherwise have been.  Read More »

The First 100% Wind Powered Community in the United States

One might think that the first 100% wind powered community in America would surely take advantage of their standing. That's just the thing, it seems to be hidden-- after I received an email about this town's excellent decentralized energy success, I wanted to know more.  Read More »
