Serve Up Some Environmental Discourse...

Earth Day Revival Campaign 2008

I'm looking for some new ideas for Earth Day. My public high school puts together a Earth Week in April and we run a pretty swell ship, although I think it could be considerably improved. Usually we call out to the community for speeches in the auditorium and I've seen lectures ranging from the new bee crisis to the new wave of sustainable infrastructure around the world.  Read More »

Sustainable Future V. Prosperity (total falsity)

Watch the national business organization's assertion video and tell me that it isn't biased. Tell me the University of California at Berkeley Meta-Study, 2004 incorrectly reported that the job-creating power of renewable energy is 3-5 times that of fossil fuels.  Read More »

'Draft'? Is that what you said there, Sonny?

What a turbulent scene! In February I was forced into signing into existence the Selective Service bit--evidently before a university grants admission, a person is required to take that action.  Read More »
