For those of you that don't know by now (how could you not?), I'm Pagan and do a lot of activist and volunteerism things in that direction. One of those things is my involvement in the Pagan Unity Campaign... which brings me to the point of this post.

"I've never had a white friend before"
Now that the warmer months are upon us, my sister and I have taken to keeping the boys out of doors as often as is possible. Both of the boys have discovered, as most children do, a passion for being out of doors this year.

So freaking excited... had to share!
Okay, so this really isn't a ProgressiveU post, but I'm dying to say...
I finally got to hold Aybra last night!!

Guilt and Torture
Before Kaia was born, there was a standing joke around here that we were going to start a 'fund' for him. Instead of a college fund, his was going to go toward paying for the massive amounts of therapy he would undoubtedly need after enduring my sister, my self and the rest of the family for 18 years. We are, to put it mildly, kind of like Dharma... without a strong Greg force.

Another milemarker in the road (or 2 years of ProgressiveU)
I have a tendency to be one of those people who says what she means and means what she says. There's nothing wrong with that, but I've realized lately that things I said when I first joined ProgressiveU two years ago or even things I said last year aren't necessarily the same way I view things now.

Reflections and Racism
The journey that is life makes many interesting stops and detours along the way.

The Idiotic Parent Rant
This is, for those of you who do not like to read rants or posts with harsh language, just such a thing. If you decide to read anyway, I don't really care if you hate the language and kindly ask you not to bitch about it.

Yeah well, your behavior sucks too; you just won't admit it
The world, I informed my husband last night, has run crazy. He smiled sympathetically and nodded before kissing me on the forehead and assuring me that things would settle down again soon. He knew, as did I, that I was simply fed up and needed to rant. He then listened attentively as I railed about the insanity that has been my week thus far.
