I came here because of a blog claiming that Intelligent Design was "Leading Edge Science", and I wanted to respond to it. However, evolutiongeek beat me to the post. So I have decided to introduce myself by blogging about another interest of mine, atheism.
I'll be as upfront as I can be. I am an atheist. What exactly do I mean by that? Let's break down the word ... a theist is a person who believes in the existence of God or gods. The prefix "a" means "without". So at its most basic level an atheist is a person who is without a belief in the existence of God or gods. I can also tell you from personal experience that if all you know about a person is that he is an atheist, then that is all you really know about him.
