Hi my Name is Paige and I'm a Movie Addict

For my first ever blog entry i figured that i would talk about something that is very close to my heart. And that would be going to the movies! Living in upstate New York, a.k.a the land of no sidewalks =(, I've come to think of the cinema located in the mall near me as my home away from. No joke, i probably see around 2 or more movies there every week. (Lucky for my relationship that my boyfriend has a thing for movie theater popcorn or else we would be in serious trouble people!) There's just something about seeing a movie in a theater that always manages to trump cozying up on a sofa with a blanket and a box of dvds. I think i like going to the movies so much because it offers a kind of escape, especially in this crappy economy, going to the movies has become my only vice..well okay along with finding new music and consuming large quantities of chocolate. For however many hours that movie is going on I get to forget about every stressful thing in my life and am able to lose myself in the characters and their story.
And seriously, who else feels that watching the previews is one of the BEST parts of going to the movies? I HATE whenever i show up to the movies a few minutes late and miss them. (sidenote: that is also the reason why whenever i invite my sister and her boyfriend to the movies i tell them it starts ten minute before it actually does. i swear part of me suspects that they show up halfway through a movie on purpose just so they can guess the beginning! psh.)

*By the way, for those of you who go to the movies a lot, or hell even just occasionally, i highly reccommend getting one of those free member cards. I have a Regal Crown Club card for my cinema and am constantly getting free stuff like popcorn, candy, soda, and even free tickets! It's definitely worth it.

Movie I'm looking forward to seeing this weekend: Zombieland (Emma Stone, little miss sunshine's Abigail Breslin, Woody Harrelson, and the spaztastically cute Jesse Eisenberg fighting off flesh-eating zombies. need i say more?)
