Teen Pregnancy

Babies having babies! That’s such a true statement In these days in age parents are so concerned about being their daughters friend then actually being her mother parents in this generation are more focus on if their child would like them of not .Which has hurt our young girl instead of help them we have hinder our own kids. Teen age pregnancy is becoming more rapidly in our community’s any where we turn or go we at a high risk of see a young girl pregnant. Are we making it more convenient? Providing our young girls with condoms and birth control and all the other prevention that there is available to stop out girl from becoming pregnant. But are we saying that’s it okay?
In my opinion I believe we are supplying them with everything they need to become sexual active .What happen to the mother sitting down and stop trying to be a friend to their young girls and let them know the out come of that can happen if or when they decide that they want to have sex how about we let your young girls know that they too are important so when that guy comes to them telling them how beautiful they are if want affect them and that’s something that they will already know so they wouldn’t be so quick to become sexual active .

This might be a good blog... Its tough to tell. Do yourself a favor and fix the grammatical errors. You will get more reads that way and readers will focus more on your argument.

...than they have been in decades. Aside from a slight (5%) increase in unwanted teen preganices between 2005-2007 (due to a decrease in contraceptive use that many argue was directly associated with the increase in abstinence-only sex education during the Bush administration), the general trend of teen pregnancies has been in sharp decline over the last 30 years, decreasing by 38% between 1990 and 2007. Blackout is not only correct on this issue- but more correct than they know! Comparative data has suggested that teen pregnancies have long been the "norm" of society because back in the stone age, you didn't live to be 100 years old. In fact, it was rare to see a life last beyond 30. So girls married at very, very young ages and had children at those ages as well (many out of wedlock). Although teen pregnancy is still a HUGE issue because it is, as you put it, babies having babies and many cannot conform to the needs of an infant because they still have many needs themselves.
Just pointing out that its been happening over history and will continue to happen.

I completely agree on the mothers being the child's friend. Its not a bad thing- heck its better than the mother not being there for the child at all. But, it is teaching the girls ZERO dicipline & the same for boundaries. & Children learn from environment.

I just did a quick search, and it appears that there are (at least) 100 entries on teen pregnancy on ProgU. Ouch. It's technically a "hot" topic, but it seems ice cold to me. For originality, you might want to check up on what others have written on a particular topic. I've found that really original topics are the most interesting, the most beneficial, and get the most reads.

Once again, I'm just offering a little advice. If it's unwanted, completely disregard this comment.

It is good news though to hear that the teen pregnancy rate is dropping. It sure seemed really bad in these past few years, right? Hardly any of us graduate high school without knowing a few pregnant girls in the school. It's just sad.
