The Obama 3 : Budgetary Discipline or Dirty Dealings

As you all have known,Barack Obama has been president of the United States of America since January 20th of 2008. With Barack Obama's politcal campaign slogans being ones of both "Hope" and "Change We Can Believe In", I as well as the rest of the United States electorate believe those phrases, those ideals should be carried out. People throughout the United States voted for Barack Obama becasue they "hoped" for "change" from the normal politcal misdealings, ineffecencies, and bureacratic nightmares....the only problem is Barack Obama has welched on two of the ideas that he won the election on!
You might be asking yourself, well how has Barack Obama contradicted the goals and ideals he set forth in his politcal campaign. Well the facts have been laid before us time and time again! Barack Obama hasn't even been president for 100 days and allready there have been 3 appointees who contradict both the ideals of "Hope" and "Change We Can Beleive In". Many of you might know what I am talking about and some of you might be hearing about this for the first time through this blog. For those of you who do not know, Barack Obama has tried to appoint 5 people to cabinet or executine position who have failed to pay their taxes some which have refused to pay those taxes because they don't feel as if they are required to rectify the situation. Dare I say, they must think they are above the rest of the citizens of the United States who do pay their taxes without hessitation. I beleive that high ranking politcal figures thinking they can weasle their way out of paying taxes in as far from "Change We Can Believe In" and "Hope" for a TRANSPARENT PRESIDENCY as we could possibly get. Below are the 3 individuals who I would dare to classify as criminals and IRS tax evaders ( assuming Barack Obama and the Democrats havent passed the Fairness Doctrine in order to limit dissenting opinions like mine) and a brief discription of how much they owe, their status in the appointment process and my views on their TAX EVASION!!!!

1) Timothy Geitner-NOW Secretary of the Treasury
Timothy Geitner hid his tax issues from both the Obama vetting team and the rest of the US until the Senate Banking and Finance Committee found out. Dare I say he was going to try and let a near $20,000 in back owed taxes just vanish. The only problem I see with that is as the Secretary of the Treasury, he is in charge of the vary department that he was trying to cheat, the IRS. But of course in the infinite wisdom of the Democratic majority in the Senate, they looked around this fact and still confirmed him as the next Secretary of the Treasury, isn't that GREAT!!!!!! How is someone who doesnt respect the IRS suppose to run the IRS efficently and without politcal or dare I say personal influence?

2) Tom Daschle- Dropped out of running for Secretary of the Health and Human Services Department
Tom Daschle had even more of an issue with taxes than did Tmothy Geitner. Daschle owed just as much if not more than Timothy Geitner! Since the tax issues have been not fully disclosed to the public (transpareny my ass), I can not really talk about the issue in more detail. I will say that once again Obama tried to appoint someone who lacks budgetary discipline in their own lives telling me that he does not want to improve the overall budget problems that have bled the HHS for years.

3) Ron Kirk, appointee to be US Trade Representative, awaiting confirmation
Ron Kirk former mayor of Dallas, has also been plague by back owed taxes of approximately $10,000. He has since promised to pay the back-owed taxes back in due haste (well thank god for that too bad he didnt pay them when they were do). My issue with Mr. Kirk is that as of recent the US politcal juggernaut has been calling for increased tariffs and import taxes as a way to shore up the economy ( a section of the Stimulus Package even paved the way for this!), and how is someone who doesnt even pay their taxes expect to go overseas and have any shred of legitimacy when it comes to setting up tariffs and effectively negotiating import tax rates. Who knows how many laughs this guy could get!

My question is this: How on earth is the United States suppose to show a change of face when appointees such as Geitner, Kirk, and who knows who else are defiling the very insititutions this government functions on?

It has been more than just tax evasion.

Governor Bill Richardson had to withdraw his name from consideration because it turns out he is under investigation for some sort of pay to play corruption.

And the new Secretary of Labor, Hida Solis has ethics problems in the House. Apparently she served in a role as Treasurer of a labor lobbying organization as well as being an elected official. It was a conflict of interest. And her husband had 17 years of back property tax liens on their business.

And Attorney General Holder was involved in the last minute pardon of Marc Rich, at the tail-end of the Clinton Administration. Surprise, surprise, Marc Rich was a tax evader and his wife was a heavy contributor to the Clinton library. Holder pushed the pardon through outside the regular channels in the Justice Department. Holder was also involved in the pardons of several Puerto Rican terrorists called the FALN to boost Hillary's chances of election to the Senate from New York.

The Obama Administration is the most corrupt since the Harding Presidency.

By contrast, at this point in the Bush Administration only one cabinet member, Linda Chavez, had been forced to withdraw because she employed an illegal alien which was trivial compared to the gross corruption of Geitner, Daschle, and Richardson.
