Its all about ego. Where does the line between ego and confidence meet? Somewhere between coward and champion. Could it be any more vague? If you can name one person who became successful with out stepping up, you'll be a step a head of me. Regardless of the 5 W's, there is always a social pecking order. Control or be controlled, sounds pretty mob-esk to me. Use what ever example fits; canine pack mentality or High school social structure. I suppose I could have picked things that don't correspond so closely.

"Confidence: part of a healthy balanced breakfast." Confidence is something at the vary core of a person. Its not just outward cockiness, but the inward ability to know one's ability to live up to his or her capabilities. It can be found in a hot shot's swagger or a computer tech's work. Confidence shows its self in a vast collection of forms, positive and negative.
Maybe in this modern world there is no difference between the self glorified "god send" and the well kept confidant human. I how ever, beg to differ. Pride, ability and skill should always be separated from over blown, cocky individual with a personal vendetta for attention.
Or, maybe its just me.
