Have You Ever Seen an Orb?

When my daughter was 8 months old my father in law passed away. She loved him. We called him "Zaideh," a Yiddish word for grandfather, and she called him "Day-daw." She said day-daw long before she ever said mommy or daddy. When he passed away my daughter did not sleep for 3 days. I heard her on the intercom babbling constantly, saying, "Day-daw," intermittently. I opened her door once while she was supposed to sleeping and she was sitting up in her crib, looking up towards the ceiling, waving her hands around and cooing, "Day-daw."

One night she was crying terribly. This is unusual for her, she loves her bed. I went in her room and held her. She was inconsolable. I thought she might be having gas. I took her into the living room where she wouldn't wake anyone up. It was pitch dark. I sat on the couch and my little girl stopped crying. She gasped and jerked her head up, and seemed to be tracking something, scanning the ceiling. She whispered, "Day-daaw," and laid her head back down on my chest.

Some months later she went to Disneyland with my mother in law. Disneyland was Zaideh's favorite place. I was looking at pictures they took with my mother in law's camera and found one with my daughter standing, knees bent, as if she was about to jump. It was a profile shot, and right in front of her was an orb. I didn't know much about orbs, so I looked closely to see if this perfectly round white globe was a product of a flaw or lighting. The orb was the same size as her head, and perfectly round. The weird thing to me was that everything behind it was visible. I could she the pickets in the fence and the leaves on the planets through the opaque bubble. It looked as if the orb was a coil of light. I looked up orbs on google and researched authentication, etc. I am convinced this was a real orb. I haven't been to find that picture since then. It was on my mother in law's computer, and I have searched her hard drive with a fine toothed comb with no luck.

Wow, that's weird...

I have a friend who has a picture of her little brother's baptism...it's of the whole family and the priest...well, when the pic came out, there was a dove. We believe the dove to be a symbol of the Holy Spirit and baptism is the first time we encounter the Holy Spirit through the graces. It was really bizarre.
