Progressive U -Broad Prosperity

Broad Prosperity is one of the principles in Progressive U. When I thought about what type of topics I could write regarding this, I thought “broad prosperity” was both simple and complex or limited and broad. I bet by just reading what I typed above you guys got confused. Well, if it makes you feel any better, I got a little bewildered too.

I mean, broad prosperity could mean one thing for me and could mean another to somebody else or to you guys. First, I thought this could only mean that I could blog about things that could or would help people advance in life like how to be a success financially or academically. Then, I reflect on maybe I could create blogs/posts about how people could be more “progressive” or be a much better person (citizen, mother, father, son/daughter, student, boss, employee, or friend). Also, I considered that -if there is something like an issue or problem that people should be aware about -I could talk about it, reflect on it, comment about it, or suggest some solutions to it. Thus, by just discussing on those issues through Progressive U, other people would have more knowledge about it and all of us could be a part of the solution.

Hence, some of topics that could be tagged with broad prosperity might be anti-violence, the election, some things that the government could do for anybody's sake (our own, our children, veterans, immigrants, people with disabilities, or senior citizens). It could also be about a new drug or medicine that can cure some disease. Taking care about our environment could be considered too. You could also write about what people should change (like how society think about a certain group or thing) so all of us could live harmoniously together despite our differences.
