Today marks a turning point for America; a serious day in which many lives will be marked or scarred - a day of decisions that will choose the fate of the United States of America. Vote in good conscience knowing the man you choose will be the one who makes life-threatening, country changing and world shaking decisions on YOUR behalf. Whether you agree or not, after today, your say in which direction this wonderful land of liberty takes, is now in the hands of the man you choose to put into office. The lives of unborn children, marriage between a man and a woman, the further economy of our nation, our unnecessary dependence upon other countries, self-reliance during our country's current financial crises, and the deep concerns of the American people are all issues that will be blatantly and critically affected by the decision you cast today. Responsible voting is what America needs, not a change that will floor this nation and take them by surprise while adding more governmental control with little or no guidelines for the government itself. Extremists only further complicate matters with their own agenda in mind. The United States of America needs to get back to its roots in being a country founded on the principles of God, working for the greater good of the people.
In this country on this day, an unborn baby can be suffocated choked to death by an abortionist as long as its entire body has not been delivered yet. Today, two men or two women can join their hands in Holy matrimony consummating this union through immoral sexual acts with one another and is legal in many states. Today, parents will pay taxes to their city and state and yet their monies will not go to the education of their own children if they so choose to have them educated in smaller classrooms with moral and ethical teachers in private schools. Today, we drill for our nation's greatest natural resources in a country other than our own, keeping them stable and strong by our oil purchasing when God has given us land far richer in oil than any other, for our own use yet we choose to save fowl of the air and fish of the sea rather than helping our own people. Today, our country is more in debt than it has been in its existence and congress repeatedly cares for their own while the people of this great nation suffer devastating financial blows that weaken and demean the purpose and reputation of this God-fearing nation. Today, our troops remain behind enemy lines for a cause not of their own with little hope of returning home with honorable feathers in their caps in service to a country that has not always had their own family’s interests as well as the people of the United States best interest in mind. Today, a presidential nominee who wholeheartedly served his country and endured the punishment for his allegiance through his experience as a prisoner of war, is trusting you will choose wisely, considering your family’s future fate and those generations after you as well as the future health and strength of America.
On this day, your vote will make or break this nation. Congress can sway or nay in a particular direction, but still the president holds an immense amount of power and therefore should be in a place of knowing how to use this power for the good of the people. Today, marks a day of victory or defeat for the United States of America. Vote responsibly, ethically and for the good of the people of this great nation.

You see, the thing is that the United States of America was NOT founded on the "principles of god" as you suggest, but rather on the principles of Greek and Roman Republics, tempered with the understanding that religion and government do not make for good bedfellows. Our Founding Fathers worked very hard to keep the private religious beliefs of citizenry and the public institutions and responsibilities of our government completely separate. What you are suggesting we go back to is rather something that was characteristic of the country which we fought our war of independence to ESCAPE from, which is of course the religious tyranny of the majority being imposed on other throughs the force of the Law.
To quote two of my favorites Founding Fathers...
So yes, vote for John McCain IF YOU WANT TO ABANDON THE RIGHTS OF CONSCIENCE. But if you want to embrace freedom and equality for ALL of our citizens, and not just the christian ones, then you might want to consider another choice.

Here to tell you I care and so do many others. Your information is wrong though. Over half of all abortions now are performed after from the second trimester and later. Good thing your mom did not exercise her right to choose if she had wanted an abortion when pregnant with you, huh? When an abortion takes takes place, remember, it is never over that easy for the woman who just killed her baby no matter what trimester she was in. I know this from experience of making third terrible mistake as an ignorant seventeen year old and believing the abortionist when I was told the baby was just a mass of cells. I worked as a hotline counselor for three years and volunteered at the Crises Pregnancy Center in Arizona. I spoke to many women, had them cry on my shoulder and did what I could to help through the healing process that later always hits them. And eventually, it hits the man as well for those who agreed to the abortion or lost their baby as as result of a girlfriend or wife having one. The truth is the only that that sets you free and it is exactly this that everyone believing in abortion is so afraid of.

And here we are, at a totally different turning point than the one you wanted. We have now elected our first black president. Though I really don't agree with some of his principles, I find McCain to be the worse of the two evils, especially with Palin by his side.
