My professor thinks immigration is such a big issue. I personally think immigration doesn't matter that much. Only when immigration hit home for me did I realize how important immigrants are. Immigrants are merely the building block on which America was founded.Immigrants were raided in the Howard Industries in Lauel, MS. My family is from Laurel, MS, and also my uncle works at Howards Industries. I'm African American and so is my uncle so he still has his job. What about all the sophomores in college like me who don't though? What about all the uncles that got deported, detained, or imprisoned for illegally working in the United States? Where is the humanity in deportation? Where is the moral in American business for committing a crime and getting away with it, when immigrants face all the consequences of the decision of a business owner who hired the person? I feel that it is wrong to deport illegal immigrants and the policies set in American government needs to be reformed. I'm not alone in my opinion so does the whole ANT 101 class I'm in at the University of Southern Mississipp? Is deportation of illegal immigrants wrong?I hope you answer this with a YES!

NO, jk. As you said i feel that illegals do nothing but break their backs striving for a better opportunity and life. They take the jobs that nobody wants( along with the negative connotations and prejudice that comes with it) and are treated like slaves. the only crime being committed is the immoral slave-like conditions the employers put the illegals through.
Employers should be subjected to harsh sentences when cases like this shows up.
