compromises in choosing

I am a senior in high school right now. Actually, I am about to graduate in January so I am pretty excited and can not wait. I have everything planned for my future, except college. I know that right after I graduate I will be going to a community college for a semester, due to the simple fact that there are no four- year universities that accept a high school student. After that I don't know what to do about which university I am going to. It is insane, everyone says to just go to thecollege near where I live, but I do not know about that. I have always wanted to go away, but then about a year ago I decided I wanted to stay here. Well, now I'm not so sure. If I stay here I have the protection of my family, but if I go away I will have total freedom and I will get to stay with my fiance who is far away from me. Also, I'm basically gauranteed (I think I spelt that right) to get into the university out here I am applying for, which is a plus since i did not do to well in my first few years of high school.Does anyone else have this problem, or something like that???? I'm just curious.
