Oh the debates

So the debates. All in good fun? Yes, it is exciting to hear the two potential leaders of our great nation trying to outwit eachother. So why do we get so into it? What has made it that we, watching two people debate on the television, feel the need to argue with them through the screne we know they will never be able to travle through. I know in our house the democrats are required to watch in one lounge and the republicans are required to be in a different room, watching from a different set. Why is it that in every way we may love eachother, but when politics come up, all hell breaks loose. Yes, i love my country, i love my politics, i would really enjoy my country to be run in the way i agree with, but that gives me no right to piss everyone else in my life off because i have an opinion. So the point i am getting at is please, have opinions, want somthing in particular from your leaders, but don't be annoying while stating them. Have respect for other opinions expecially durring the debates. Allow this to be a time in your life when you just listen to the candidates points. Don't add your opinions, allow your thoughts to be molded by what each candidate says. Just let it go, and enjoy this happy time in everyone's life where we can argue for the betterment of our country.
