so I have just started using the internet because my parents think it will send me straight to the "dark side" haha but what I have noticed is that everyone is really grumpy. some people, I swear take such offense to everything. and not just on this site but many others to. I think its because people don’t know how the person is actually saying this stuff. so let me tell you a little about "me". im happy all the time, there is basically nothing that makes me angry, I speak my mind but why cant we all just enjoy life and love each other.
it seems like people have let the net take over their lives, like my friends. at some point they are going to have to come out from behind the computer and face reality. I hate how some people when they are angry, send me a txt or a message about it, haha I mean come on, grow up and tell me how you feel. its not like im going to attack them or something. I like knowing everyone’s opinion but I feel like the world is hiding behind their computer and yes, it is cool because you feel like you have the freedom to say what ever you want but maybe having that sensor isn’t a bad thing.
I have also decided that the way this generation puts up every single bit of information up about them selves is weird, and I do it to, but its strange to think that we feels its necessary to talk to everyone about everything. maybe its a good thing because we can express ourselves and be more open. or maybe its bad, maybe something’s should be kept to our self
why is everyone hiding behind their computer?

I agree with you. Too many people these days are hiding behind their computers. When they have a bad day, or someone sets them off, they ignore it until the get home. Then, they get online, and send a really inappropriate and mean message to that person about why they're mad at them. A lot of times, it's a simple misunderstanding that could easily have been worked out, had it been addressed face to face with the other person, however, it becomes something huge, simply because the person who felt wronged had blown it out of proportion, and had done it from behind a computer or cell phone. This was never a problem before we had computers. People used to work their issues out by talking, or sometimes physically. However, now that we have computers (and I love them a lot, don't get me wrong on that), this is no longer the case. People no longer have the confidence to approach another person without having it be via a computer or a text message. I'm sorry folks, but I would much rather have someone come up to me and tell me why they're mad at me, or talk to me face to face, than to hear about it online, when there's no way for me to fix it!
I think its hilarious in a sad way when people try to talk behind peoples backs on places like myspace but then every one can see the comments and they 'accidentally' let the cat out of the bag.
Personally I would just laugh at the idiots even if it was against me and move on. I do not need morons like that as a friend anyway.
