I Bet You Didn't Know...

It's recently come to my attention that most of you haven't yet found all of the nifty ProgressiveU features. So... welcome to the Nifty ProgressiveU Feature blog. I promise to keep it quick and painless.

First up, you can nominate a blogger to be featured. By doing so, you give a great blogger a little recognition and can earn bonus points towards the contest for yourself. See this post for all the details.

Second... the Topic of the Week page lists interesting topics (complete with questions to consider) for those moments when you're topicless. You can also find feeds from two of the ProgressiveU faculty members that may spark an idea.

Thirdly... some of our veteran members have created groups dedicated to various things. We have a hunting group, a Progressive PRIDE group, the Blogging Coalition, writing groups, ProgressiveU Addicts Anonymous, etc. And... if a group you want isn't there, you can always request it and we'll see what we can do to get it set up for you!

Fourth... we have a creative writing sister site where you can post your creative writing endeavors for feedback, or provide feedback on the endeavors of others.

There are also forums where you can chat about generalities, pose questions to users, read press releases from various organizations, etc. You don't get points for creating a forum topic... but you do get 10 points for every comment posted to the forums!

We have a Work Study program where you can earn cool prizes and receive letters of recommendation and reference for your efforts with features such as the Topic of the Week, the Between the Lines Column, the Service Learning Program, etc.

There is also a ProgressiveU Store where you can buy neat gear (and help fund future scholarships), the Between the Lines column, a ProgressiveU group on Facebook, and a ProgressiveU page on Myspace.

You also have the option to support ProgressiveU when searching or shopping online... or you can explore other sites via our links section.

And that's only the tip of the iceberg! There are various other nifty features that have been put in place for our users (often on request of our users). But, a debilitating case of the lazies has come on so I'm going to leave it up to you to find the rest of the nifty features ProgressiveU has to offer!
