I'll keep this short and sweet. (I could have sworn I wrote a biography already, but here goes anyway).
My name is Bridget. I'm majoring in Media Communications and Technology at ESU in Pennsylvania. I love movies, read more than most of my friends think is a "normal" level, and dabble a bit in creative writing. My future hopes include videography, hopefully working with movies and TV shows. Who knows? Maybe I could even be a director someday.
I mentioned briefly that I like to write. That includes more than just the blogs you find here at ProgU. I also write short stories, movie scripts, and am attempting a couple of novels. Someday, I might even see my name in print.
I've been on ProgressiveU since November of 2006. After being on for a while and running for multiple Blogging for Progress Scholarship Contests, I finally got third place in 2008. But I was no longer here for just the prize. I think ProgU is a great site with great people. The ideas expressed here give me hope for this generation of people. And I hope this non-profit soon has funding enough to bring back the scholarship, even if many of us aren't here to compete any more.
