What is there that I can say about myself that you really want to know?

In many ways I am a geek - self-taught in virtually everything who decided to take the plunge in 2004 and return to college. I thought, hey, who knows? Maybe - just maybe - I'll learn a little something... be a little better...

Okay, I didn't really think like that. The truth is that I was sick of working in radio as a manager after finding out (rather abruptly) that a self-taught individual with no paper-credentials is nothing and receives virtually no job security. How Rude!

Anyway, I've finally graduated and am looking forward to a time when I can return for graduate school to get a Master's Degree in History. My ultimate goal - provided I can get there - would be to obtain a Doctorate in Medieval History. Yes - I love history. I love learning how things today came to be and why.

That said, I am a wonk. Anything available for me to read, I will (eventually) get my grubby little hands on and do just that.

As for the rest, well, let's see. I have been working as a volunteer for Progressive U for close to 2 years. I wish I had more time to devote to this wonderful project and its many members... and I have met a lot of friends here. Hopefully, you're one of them. If not, I'm sure you will be :)
