"Dirt Bags" For Sale

And I am not talking about a mean or rude for sale. Someone is selling actual dirt. I saw on KDFW Fox 4 news out of Dallas that people are selling actual dirt on EBAY. It is dirt from the new Dallas Cowboys stadium that is under construction in Arlington, Texas. It says it comes with a letter of authentication from the man who dug it up. I am not a sports fan, so I am wondering sports fans, is this something that you would actually buy? Is that something that you would actually want? I am just curious because it does not seem like something I would want even if I was a sports fan. For those who are curious about it here is the link to it:

On a side note, I have heard that you can buy anything on EBAY. I talked to a guy at the post office one day who sells a lot of stuff on EBAY. He even used to sell false teeth there till EBAY stopped him for sanitation reasons. But it surprised me people were buying them. If I did searches on EBAY, I am sure I could find a lot of different things for sale on EBAY or anywhere online really that they think people might buy. I never thought people would buy bags of dirt, but to each his own. The bid is now at $5.50 and the Buy it now price is $100.00. To each his own, I guess. It will be interesting to see how high the bids get before the auction ends.

How incredibly strange, but then again, I'm not much of a sport fan either (even though soccer and hockey do rock). I suppose it goes to show that people will buy anything. It'd be a lot more fun to load up in the car and drive to the new stadium to procure your own dirt. Buying it on EBAY almost seems like cheating.
