Stormy Day

Have you ever gotten into a fight with someone you love? Does the sorry and appologies make everything better? Think about the poem I wrote and remember this next time you argue with someone you love and care about. It will affect them for a while!

The storm blows in, that mighty wind it causes so much damage,

the earth shakes, the branches break, and the birds run for cover,

The clouds darken, the trees sway and the sun goes away,

The thunder rumbles and the lighting strikes, brightening up the sky,

The rain pours down and floods the ground, on this stormy day.

The storm goes away and the wind calms down,

the earth and trees begin to settle,

The birds come out and sing about, in their very own way,

the storm is gone and out comes the sun trying to clean up the day.

The sun is like the healer, drying up what was left from the storm.

It drys up all the puddles and keeps the earth feeling nice and warm.

The flowers begin to blossom, the storm helped them grow fast,

but the poor tree still lies disturbed, with broken branches on the grass.

That was a great poem; but sometimes when I get into a fight with my mother, it lasts for two days. So, the storm can last for two days instead of one.
