Perhaps what needs to be done is a complete revamp of the “Holy Bible,” with explanations. Another wise man once mentioned that not until the American people have an explanation of something, such as an unidentified flying saucer soaring directly above your head, while you hover, will they be pleased. You can say anything you want, for example, it could have been a coincidental illusion, no matter how many - half the city perhaps? - saw it. But as long as the government has an explanation, we feel safe (Vidal). Truly, truly robotic.
I leave you with one beautiful, extraordinary quote, and that is this: “No matter how corrupt, greedy, and heartless our government, our corporations, our media, and our religious and charitable institutions may become, the music will still be wonderful” (Vonnegut). It is said that in the most desperate days, when someone is feeling so low, the only way to supress one’s sadness is through music. Slaves brought us some of the most inspiring lyrics, tunes, songs, and no matter what way you look at it, every genre, even today, is inspired by the music of yesterday. The best way, for now, to get along with the world we live in today, is to try and enjoy the beauty of it – no matter how terrifying our highly unintelligent and anti-humanistic our leaders will be -- then try our very best to change it.
