How Miss Bimbo Influences Young Girls

By now, I am sure most of you have heard of Miss Bimbo's website. If not, I'll give you a brief summary. A website aimed at young girls, you create a doll to monitor. You control her diet, breast size, and numerous other demeaning aspects of her.

Anyways, the site completely appalls me. I mean, I'm not even a big fan of LIbby Lou's. I understand that these girls have their freedom, and whichever life they choose to lead is their's to lead, but the amount of one-sided influence being pushed onto them is outrageous.

How can we as a nation provide a future for our young women if we teach them that all they need are big boobs and a billionaire husband to get by? And while the media bashes this website, they, in their own way, aren't much better. The recent scandal with Governor Spitzer is a great example. The prostitute involved has all sorts of fame now, simply because of her profession.

And the young men of our nation aren't in any better of a condition. Not only are we teaching women to lessen themselves for men, but we are teaching men that it is okay to take advantage of these women. Young men are being taught that women are inferior to them.

I guess my claims are far-reaching, and I really do have faith in all the women in business, colleges, and I still believe that it is perfectly fine if a woman chooses to be a stay at home mom. But the important thing here is that they have an informed decision, and the only way to do this is to even out the influences a bit. Women have made it so far, I just don't want to back track.
