I've been having THE weirdest dreams lately. Actually, they're nightmares -- which I haven't experienced in as long as I can remember.
There are two that are distinct in my mind, and the second one is recurring.
The first one happened sometime around Thursday/Friday. My family and I are on a boat in a body of water somewhere off the coast of a city. The city is lit up, bustling with the throngs of people all cities have. There are friends on board as well, although they are black, faceless figures that I can't quite make out.
Everyone is talking, there is music playing, and the boat is filled with merriment.
All of a sudden, there is a shrill noise and a bomb hits the city and it explodes right in front of our very eyes, but does not hit the boat.
The boat grows silent as we all try to fathom the sheer atrocity that just occurred, when another bomb this time hits the water, half way between us and the city. The hot debris starts to fly towards me, and I can feel it burning my skin. The boat starts to tip in a way rivaling the titanic, and I dash to grab ahold of my fathers hand because I notice he is slipping down the dock, about to fall into the water.
Then, all of a sudden we are in a hotel room. My parents are there, and I'm mentally freaking out about the bomb. Are we safe? Will another bomb hit us? I question my parents and they have no clue what I'm talking about.
That's when I wake up.
In the second dream I'm in a hotel in which the walls are windows. I'm searching for the room that I'm supposed to get to but I can never find it. The elevators won't bring me to the correct floor, and the people in the rooms I do enter have never heard of the room I'm searching for.
The second nightmare is not as bad as the first. In the first nightmare I woke up four times to make sure that I was safe... but do dreams really mean something? And if they do, what exactly do my nightmares really mean??

Well as to the first dream, I've had a few like this, they feel awefully future like and realistic don't they. Like an omen or something that would become deja vu. In mine I was in a big city, like chicago or something, and rockets started striking buildings. I was in a huge scared crowd. They start running towards the big corperate buildings, and I say "No don't go in those ones, their the most likely targets for someone to attack". Then I lead my group into a smaller broken down build so cheap it would be a waste of an expensive missle, we hide out in the lower levels encase it gets higher up we're not stuck and can evacuate. We're down there a bit and then some soldiers, come in which are not of the united states, they pin down the group into rooms. After another bit of fear, scientist come into the room where we are all being gaurded at gun point. The scientist have coats full of needles which they say are Hallucinogenic Disablers. The concept is they inject you with it and you trip to such an extent in your body that on the exterior you're not all there enough to ever revolt, like hypnotic sedatives. and when they come to inject me, I break off the tip of the needle and shove it in the scientists eyeball and then elbow the soldier as he tries to attack me, and then take him by his head and ram it into the corner of a heavy metal cart, and hes dead... So then the group I'm with all(the ones not sedated) jump on the remaining soldiers and we get outta there. Then we run to a field, and we're trying to make plans to escape, and others are making plans to free more people, when all the sudden we start seeing what look like white water balloons falling. I realize these are napalms, so i'm like "FUCK RUN!", and I dodge a few and then ones fire splashes off my face and I start on fire, so I stop drop and roll, for whatever reason I was still good enough to run/walk, and I meet up with a group and we're trying to arm ourselves to retake pieces of the city at a time. Thats kinda where it ended..
I would guess the war dreams are due to the fear tactics that try to put this kinda stuff into our brains to keep us leary of other countries, for their own reasons...
As to the second, it could just deal with some sort of repressed confusion and the lack of help you feel someone or some situation is giving you.
All dreams are really just electrically triggered patterns your body entertains you with as you rest, some carry more weight than others, and some might carry more meaning or omens then you choose to percieve.

Dreams are suppose to mean things but I think our subconsious mind wonders during the day. This I know about dreams. Everyone normally has around 50-100 dreams a night and they normally only last 5 seconds to 1 minute. Everyone has dreams each night and if we didn't some way this can make someone die or sick or something along those lines. I learned this in psychology. Nightmares really suck but I really don't know if they have meaning. I had a weird one the other night that I was in a pet shop and a pirrahna ate my flesh off. It was really freaky and scared me half to death. If you ever experienced falling dreams this is also strange that if you actually land in the dream on the ground you can have a heart attack. I don't know this to be true but I learned this in the class I took. I would try to look up bomb dreams on a dream database. If you google it you should be able to find out what it may mean.
They're just dreams. it's your brain working through the day. It could be from the propaganda of what the first post said. But other than that I wouldn't be worried about it, unless you're some prophetic girl :P. Your dream sounds like Cloverfield lol. Maybe you've been doing something out of the ordinary like eating weird things before you goto sleep?

Now that you mention it, I have taken quite a fancy to pineablle fruit cups...
