Breaking News- Obama resigns his church membership!

IS THIS TOO LATE? IS HE FLIP FLOPPING ON CHURCH MEMBERSHIP?
Are the Democrats putting another flip flopper up for the Presidency?

Yes Barack Obama has left the Trinity Church in Chicago? When the political heats up Obama runs for the hills. Can he run from the past? Apparently he is running from his long term political and religious associations. Is this an effort to disguise his identity and past even further?

Apparently Obama has just flipped on his long term church identity What church membership will the Senator from Illinois pursue now?

Can we elect such an unstable persona to the presidency? He seems to be the same old same old candidate of political expediency. Truly he is not the man of change he presents himself to be.

Next weeks Saturday nite live should be pretty cool. Politically and election wise the next few days will be quite interesting.
One thing is for sure the late night talk show comedians will have fun with this!
The Presidential election 2008 is now fast and furious and Obama is making himself the target for many.

A question should now be asked: Does Barack Obama know who he is?

I wish he weren't receiving so much pressure to leave his church. I wish he could just stand up to everyone and say "tough sh*t, I'm staying, because my choice of church is deeply personal and not a matter of national security or interest." But I guess I'd probably back off if people were using my church to accuse me of ridiculous things. There are other churches out there.

But it has NOTHING to do with how good of a president he can be.

Clinton and McCain have both flip flopped on real issues actually pertaining to politics.

Obama did not flip flop his church membership when Rev Wright's controversial sermons were all over the news and internet. When Rev Wright exploited the situation for his own 15 minutes of fame, throwing in as much controversial phrasing as possible, Obama did change churches.

This is a personal matter anyway. Religion has nothing to do with how well one can do his or her job, yes, even president. What was he supposed to do? "Well, even though you used me to get your fifteen minutes of fame to further damaged my reputation, I feel you are still the type of man I want guiding my family's religious values and beliefs."

So you think Clinton or McCain are stable in ANY stance that actually matters as a presidential candidate?

Do you ever disagree with something your priest/pastor/reverend/Rabbi/etc says?

know that their personal lives connect to their performance as the President.

When you have a job your personal life has an effect on your performance!

Obama knows that his life has been under the microscope a lot more this election season than either Clinton or McCain. His religious choice is a freedom we pride our American selves in. His choice has nothing to do with political performance.

religious or otherwise are very important and have Everything to do with political performance. This discussion have nothing to to with separation of church and state.
