Everyone is very diverse... we all know that. The thing we fail to realize is we can be very diverse inside ourselves. People can say they know who they are, but if that's true, than they know that they are not just one person. They are a combination of themselves and their surrondings.
Just a little thought before I let you read the following poem.
The Porcelain Doll Princess
The castle was in a small town,
Where friends and family were always around.
The princess was popular and pretty,
With no need for self pity.
Her father was so proud,
He even called her the sun shining through a dark cloud.
Her life was perfect, like a fairytale dream.
It was guided and followed like a tiny stream.
She conformed and obeyed,
That was the image she portrayed.
One day she broke free,
Crashing the dreams of her life to be.
She turned to alcohol,
She doesn't care about her future at all.
She completely lost her self-control,
Faster and faster destruction is taking its toll.
She still pretends she is perfect, that nothing is wrong,
And yet she can't figure out what's taking her dreams so long.
Her beauty and intelligence are beginning to fade,
The bricks of her future have already been laid.
She's starting to crumble, starting to slip.
Her fingers are slowly losing their grip.
Everyone knows she'll shatter when she falls,
This princess as fake as a porcelain doll.
