Ok!!!! So for anyone who has not read my first two blogs on homework please go read them now before you read this one.

So I was thinking….again….. (dangerous, I know)-- but, remember the lawyer I mentioned in one of my previous blogs. The one who said the only thing she remembers from her Physics class was a lesson about tires???? Yeah! Well…. I was thinking I wish a lot more of this was done. I mean a lot more useful things that we are proud to learn and remember when we walk out into the “real world.”

I also think that there should be a lot more hands on things done at school. I know there are different types of learners, some hands on and some that learn better by taking notes and listening to lectures; however, I do think it is more beneficial for everyone if there were more lessons that involved the students physically in order that they get a better picture of what they are learning. Group projects are a good example, as are more education field trips. I don’t mean field trips to the zoo (geez I probably had at least 4 of those) but REAL educational trips that inspire kids. I think there should be more community service projects done within classes at a younger age also. This could just be my mind wandering, but does anyone agree with me or have another idea? Let me know! =)
